That is an interesting observation that you have about the drawing. Often I find that my subconscious thoughts always makes its way to the surface through my drawings. I originally intended to so make a funny drawing that would reflect this saying. Instead I have created this kind of perverse scene where Marie Antoinette's captors playfully tease her which contrasts the horrific events that are soon to unfold.
The woman in this drawing is referenced from a painting of Marie Antoinette. Everyone can use a good laugh don't you agree?
I imagine 'The Hand' is measuring her up for the guillotine, which is why she isn't looking very thrilled about it :(
