Hanging hams at a deli are oh so beautiful and delicious. I am going to try doing some daily drawings on white paper and see how it works for a little bit. Let me know if you enjoy the white paper better than my usual paper :)

Onions

I didnt enjoy still life painting untill I discovered how much one can learn from doing them. To help prepare and make my fish head painting better I have embarked on a series of still life paintings. It will sharpen the way I use my colors or at least thatr is the idea :)

I didnt think of it till today but Owls are very fun to draw. They have plenty of texture and layers. This daily drawing took me longer than usual but it was worth it :D

This is the city famous Mason Street Trolley. It has been so long since I have brought you a daily drawing done from life instead of one of the things that I conjure up in my head.

The music to listen to tonight is Johan Sebastian Bach's Solo for Cello no. 1 in G Major "Prelude". It is lovely to the ears and its the perfect companion for tonights drawing :)

215 Store Manager

Two boxlike heads rest on his shoulder. One is warm and cheerful and wants to be your friend. The other a vile sickly green that cares nothing for your well being.

These guys are a revival of the original bunch I drew on the clipboards at work so many years ago. I have brought them back because fellow artist Melissa Dolley is going to render them as sweet little plush toys. I am very excited to see these guys in plush form :D
