34 Thinking Outside the Box
I have just completed my final drawing. I completely changed my original idea for the color scheme and decided against the black outlines. I think it works much better than my original idea. Perhaps I will go back and outline the figures with another color ink but i am still undecided and i dont think it is necessary. Anyways enjoy this little drawing in celebration of thinking outside the box.

Also i realize that I am being a bit hypocritical by trying to think outside the box while bringing you a drawig that is very much inside the box for me. In fact its at the very core of that box. I assure that I am thinking outside the boxes bounds yesh!!!

33 Sticking to the Ground
I hope that you all enjoy this very early morning post.
I have been up all night in the studio and I will be back
at it as soon as i am off work at 3 till about the same time
tomorrow. The plus side to all this is that you get a Daily
Drawing really early. All this drawing I am doing is all for
a great cause. I am conceiving a new work that I am sure
that you will love thoroughly or at least mildly, but I
guarantee that you will not hate it.

Proud Warriors
This painting is familiar to all of you who have been visiting my gallery the last couple of first fridays. This painting is the focus of my discussion of the week. This is known as the lobster painting which may not be so ovious when you are viewing it too close. What I wanted to express with this painting is how societies thrive with the conquest of other people. The Lobsters are the proud warriors but yet they are simply on display. It is degrating that they are unable to fight back because simple rubber bands have been put on thier claws. These lobsters are now simply food for our consumption.31 Fish Stories

Friday Night Recap

So the Gallery walk turned out fantastic last night. It was the most people we have had I think. Things started off slow but once it got going it was intense. My studio way in the back was completely packed full of people. There was lots of support from the community and people really loved the artwork. It was a great night and it was more than I could hope for. Thank you to all the people who made it out that night and thank you for all of the support. I love Fort Collins!!!
